About Me
I'm a pure songbird, absorbing and mimicking all kinds of musical styles from singer-songwriter and rock n roll to classical and jazz along with plenty of experimental and world music. As a musician, you'll find me humming melodies numerous times throughout the day often forgetting I'm doing it. I am pretty soft spoken but also am a hard thinker so I tend to speak slowly, allowing for consideration of my expressed ideas or point of view. This characteristic of mine plays a large influence on my interests, all of which fundamentally have me continually striving to reimagine artist perspective. Perhaps a composer plays a series of chords with stark contrast of soft and loud dynamics within a short amount of time. Gathering this information I'll find myself concluding that maybe these artist's feelings are conflicted; that possibly his or her work is expressing that they are finding it difficult to reach a life decision and that just before they have felt they have made up their mind, a swarm of interrupting blasts of sound steers them into contradiction; the music reflecting a real-life experience through the subjectivity of interpretation the listener can only imagine. Furthermore, I also may think of a painter whom displays fluidity in shading as if the blending of colors flow into one another without halt or apprehension. An effect such as this may resonate a feeling of peace and serenity, a state in which the artist too was possibly at ease in whilst creating the piece. I apply this foundation of subjective interpretation to all tiers of creativity whether it be storytelling, dance, landscaping, sculpting, or even food! This philosophy fuels my hunger for life and is the driving force in proving life as beautiful as it can possibly be. Viewing life from the angles of artists in search of my own beliefs or ideas is the most thrilling experience possible and it makes me inexplicably happy to share my knowledge with the world.
