Music is like a dictionary; just like how words are being invented everyday, the same goes for music. Music is always expanding and the possibilities are as limitless as the creativity that the musician yields. Assuredly the possibilities are infinite for the student who is always eager to learn! For every personality that takes on the quest of experimenting with sound, the language of music's inexplicable wonder flourishes like a tree that never stops growing, getting gracefully lost in the climb towards the top.
What We Will Explore
What is most astounding is that this vast language of music can be confined into just a handful of principles (kind of like how there are only 26 letters of the alphabet but there are thousands of words). We will be learning chords and how to create chords of any emotion with their corresponding names, scales and decisions on what scales you would choose to create a certain style or flair. Technique such as hammer ons, pull offs, slides, bends, palm mutes, harmonics, finger picking, hybrid picking, and much more. And most importantly, the most rewarding part of music; your favorite songs! Every session we have together I vow that we will delve well beyond rudimentary matters and aspire to become musicians who apply what we have learned into what truly sets the
soul on fire: SONG!
